For the first time in a few years, our weekends this autumn will include organized soccer. A neighbor recruited D for this recreational team and the opening couldn’t have been tougher.
The boys played two games back-to-back in near-100 degree heat.
By the end of the second game, their legs were completely gone. We were proud of D for sticking it out. It can only get easier.
Richard and I were not as prepared as we should have been. We remembered to bring a quilt to sit on, but we should have brought some shade and should have worn sunscreen. Our brightly colored quilt attracted a butterfly, though. I think it’s a clouded sulphur.
Love these photos! And I think you are right about the butterfly name.
Hey, you had your camera so at least you were prepared for that! Beautiful shot.
