Such nice things you wrote! I’m glad you liked this photo. Don’t you wish you could eavesdrop in all the libraries and bookstores of the world to see how folks react to and use your books?

I spent some time gathering tax documents on my extra Wednesday off. I, too, have lots of piles and would much rather be doing something else. Perhaps this is why this stuff ends up in piles.
