I’ve read Leaving Gee’s Bend and I recommend it wholeheartedly—buy one for yourself and one for your mama!

There’s just something about Gee’s Bend that makes me smile! I really liked those lines you read about putting the colors in piles…Ludelphia liking things to happen as they will, and Momma liking order. Such a lovely voice in this story. Thanks for sharing yours!
