Signing at Main Street Books in Hattiesburg

I had a delightful time on Tuesday at Main Street Books in Hattiesburg. I read Wolfsnail A Backyard Predator for the children (and adults). Afterward, I talked about how I came to write the book and a little about the photography. The children (and adults) had interesting questions. I had brought some coloring pages and some of the children sat down after the reading to color and enjoy the snacks provided by store owner Diane Shepherd.

[...] Also in Hattiesburg this week will be the opening venue for the traveling exhibit Storybook Look: Illustrations by Southern Artists. The Hattiesburg American ran articles about the festival and the exhibit. I will sign books at the festival and at the exhibit at the Saenger Theater.
