I’ve been away for a few days and a few things have happened that I need to post.
First, I spent the morning before I left talking about Wolfsnail: A Backyard Predator with junior naturalists at the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science. Several of these engaging 6th and 7th graders had come across wolfsnails in their own backyards. It was a little difficult to show my slides in the outdoor classroom, but it was a very neat (if hot and humid) environment.
Second, Wolfsnail: A Backyard Predator received a nice review from Amy Schardein, a librarian in Kentucky.
Third, a reporter from a website called Mississippi Moms wrote a piece on the writing of Wolfsnai: A Backyard Predator. You can read it here.
I also want to let all the folks in the Hattiesburg area know that I’ll be reading and signing books at Main Street Books on Tuesday, July 15th at 10 a.m.
